Description
This picturesque 300-year-old Grade I listed windmill, which is in the care of the National Trust, is one of the best-loved landmarks on the Island and is industrial archaeology at its best! Bembridge Windmill is the only surviving windmill on the Isle of Wight and has been an inspiration for many artists over the years, including J.M.W. Turner.Built around 1700, Bembridge Windmill has much of its original wooden machinery intact and visitors can explore the windmills four floors, touch the machinery and enjoy the breathtaking views across the surrounding countryside and out to sea. Bembridge Windmill also has a small kiosk selling drinks and ice cream and the windmill is also the start of the Culver Trail.
There are no toilet facilities available.

Mar 15 - Jun 30: Open every day except Monday, 10am - 5pm.
Jul 1 - Sep 30: Open every day, 10am - 5pm.
Oct 1 - Nov 2: Open every day except Monday, 10am - 5pm.
Closes dusk if earlier. Open Easter Monday and May Bank Holiday Mondays. Last admission 30mins before closing.
Admission Prices
Adult: £2.50, Child: £1.25, Family: £6.25. Pre-booked groups of 15+ £2.10 each. National Trust members free.
All school groups are conducted by a National Trust guide (special charge applies).
