DescriptionThe Octopus' Garden Café is located in the sailing town of Cowes. The café was launched on the 14th February 1999 after fifteen years in the mind of Trevor Macneill. Trevor was desperate to find a home for the huge quantity of Beatles memorabilia he had collected. The idea of a café where Beatles fans could come and enjoy his collection, chill to the music and grab something good to eat.
In February 2003, the Octopus Garden Café was extended to include a non-smoking area and a designated childrens play area. The café is now run by Chris Sanders and has gone from strength to strength.
The café has a unique atmosphere, so much so that it has been recommended in the Sunday Times Urban Brunch Guide (one of only two restaurants on the Isle of Wight to be mentioned). Also, to the café's great acclaim, it has been listed in Sunday Times Top 10, in the UK and Ireland, for its decor. You will also find the cafe listed in The Hidden England Guide, The Isle of Wight Tourist Board Guide and The Eating Out Guide.
The Octopus Garden Café is open all year round, 7 days a week.
