The Octopus Cafe was launched on the 14th february 1999 after fifteen years in the mind of Trevor Macneill. Trevor was desperate to find a home for the huge quantity of beatles memorabilia he had collected. The idea of a cafe where fans could come and enjoy his collection, chill to the music and grab something good to eat.
Trevors enthusiasm has ensured that this family run cafe has gone from strength to strength. In February2003 the Octopus Garden was extended to include a non-smoking area and a designated childrens play area.
