Description
The Cask & Taverners is a traditional Isle of Wight pub in the picturesque village of Godshill, which is renowned for its pretty thatched cottages and 14th century church. The pub has been converted and extended from an old cottage and is full of character, which includes wooden beams and flagstones. The accent is very much on food and the separate restaurant at the front of the pub is the perfect place for that dining out experience. Much of the food available at the Cask & Taverners is homemade, using freshly prepared ingredients. So, whenever you find yourself in Godshill, make sure you pay us a visit! The cosy lounge area at the Cask & Taverners is the ideal spot to enjoy a leisurely drink when exploring all the visitor attractions that Godshill has to offer. There is a good selection of beers as well as wines, spirits, soft drinks and delicious cream teas and coffees. Pub games are also a major feature of the pub, which include pétanque, darts, cribbage, Friday knockout pool tournaments and a quiz night on Wednesdays. With the Isle of Wight boasting a better than average climate, the large beer garden and childrens play area is the perfect spot for families to take advantage of the great outdoors.
