Koko’s is a small shop stuffed to the seams with hundreds of grizzly huggable bears. Koko’s Bear Shop opened in April 2007, offering a wide range of teddy bears, from small token gifts to serious collectors’ bears, miniature mohair creations and artist designs. The shop is a little paradise for all you bear lovers out there, with over 300 bears to choose from! We have an extensive range of collectors’ bears from Steiff, Deans, Charlie Bears and Hermann Teddy, as well as the more affordable ranges from Gund, Russ Berrie, DouDou and Alice’s Bear Shop.

For something really special, take a look at the limited edition Charlie Bears mohair range, which all come with a certificate of authenticity, or the boxed lsabelle collection, with wobble­jointed heads and eyes made from hundreds of tiny pieces of glass so that they sparkle from every angle. Koko’s Bear Shop has been selected as one of only a few Charlie Bears Best Friends Stores, where you can find their whole collection of bears available, including the Club Store exclusives.

We stock artists’ bears from designers all over the UK and also some made locally on the Isle of Wight. Artist Bears are the work of individual teddy bear artists, from design through to completion, each creating their own unique style for the discerning teddy bear collector. Whether dressed or bare, traditional or contemporary, large or small, a true artist bear will be unique but recognizable as one of its designer’s creations. Each one of these characters has been lovingly hand made, as a one off or part of a very limited edition or short run. At the moment, we are a stockist of artist bears by Christine Pike, FJ Hannay, Beatrix Bears, Pipkins Bears, Bears & Diamonds and Gyll’s Bears. If one doesn’t jump out at you or you’d like a variation, - maybe a different colourway - we may be able to commission a bear just for you!

We have a selection of wonderful little accessories and clothes to dress your bear for any occasion and furniture to make them feel at home. Or you can take home some tools and a kit to make your own bear, with all you need from the pattern, fabric, fillings, joints, eyes and even recordable voice boxes and growlers. Why not do something different for a special occasion and give a bear in a balloon as a gift! The balloons are perfect for weddings, birthdays and anniversaries or just to make someone smile. We also stock other bear related gifts, Royal Doulton Winnie the Pooh pieces and greetings cards — including a selection designed by Christine Pike.
