DescriptionThe Garden Apartment is an attractive, recently built two-bedroom ground floor self catering holiday accommodation, which can sleep up to five persons and has been awarded 4 stars by Visit Britain. It has been finished and furnished to a high standard with quality furniture and full Sky TV and DVD player and is suitable for both couples and small families. There is also a welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits on your arrival. The property is ideally situated just a short stroll from Sandown beach and esplanade.
Sandown Railway Station is close to The Garden Apartment which enables you to leave your car behind and travel by train to the seaside town of Ryde with its six miles of sandy beaches. Los Altos Park, again a short stroll is ideal for children and pets to exercise and play. The property benefits from off road parking and a rear garden area with furniture and is all on one level so is suitable for a wheelchair.
The Garden Apartment is the perfect place to enjoy a fun packed seaside holiday, with Sandowns safe waters and traditional pier, cafes, bars, all-weather amusements and vibrant nightlife. The town is brimming with attractions to entertain visitors, most of them right on the beachfront, so you never have to stray too far from the golden sands. The resort of Shanklin is close by and you can walk along the seafront or cliff path between the two resorts. The picturesque old village of Godshill is just a short drive away.
For sports enthusiasts, you will be spoiled for choice, with sailing, surfing, body boarding, microlighting, golf and walking amongst the great activities to be enjoyed. Also in Sandown is Dinosaur Isle with its life size models and the Isle of Wight Zoo, which is famous for its Tiger Sanctuary. There is also an 18 hole golf course and Leisure Centre. For eating and drinking, there are plenty of great pubs, especially along the esplanade, with many offering freshly caught seafood, including Isle of Wight crab and lobster.
Pets discretionary at £10 per week per pet.
