Description
St Maur Hotel in Venentor prides itself on being a friendly, family run Isle of Wight hotel, offering you good food, friendly service and comfort. St Maur offers short breaks, or main holidays on the Isle of Wight. Our terms are for ferry inclusive holidays or just a couple of nights bed and breakfast. So Whatever your holiday plans are whether it be a weekend break or a short break during the week we are sure that we can accommodate you. We are situated in Ventnor, one of the prettiest areas on the Island, ideal for walking holidays, close to Ventnor Park and the beautiful Botanic Garden.
Make sure you visit our website and take a look at our Video Channel.
We were honoured to be voted the winner of best hotel by the Isle of Wight Tourism Industry Association in 2003.
Good food, comfortable surroundings & a friendly atmosphere are assured at St Maur Hotel.
All our bedrooms are en-suite with tea and coffee making facilities and colour TV (8 channels). Most rooms have been recently refurbished and have been fitted with pine style furnishings.
We have a mixture of double, twin and family rooms, some with queen size beds. Most rooms have a view overlooking the park and the sea beyond - all overlook gardens to the east, west or south; no north facing rooms!
In the dining room, we serve a hearty full English breakfast to set you up for the day and in the evening we offer a six course evening menu which is changed daily. We cater for special diets and are pleased to accommodate your requirements. Fresh vegetables are mostly used according to season.
There is a fully licensed bar with a relaxed atmosphere to occupy your evenings. The lounge still retains its Victorian grandeur. It overlooks the gardens to the south, so enjoys the sunshine throughout the day. It is a quiet place where you can sit and read, or after dinner, enjoy your coffee and mints and meet fellow guests.
