The New Inn in Shalfleet is a multi award winning Historic Inn with bags of character dating from 1743. With its inglenook fireplaces, flagstone floors, original low beamed ceilings and excellent food, this is a must-visit Isle of Wight pub.
The New Inn has a fine reputation for its culinary offerings and due to its location at the foot of Newtown Estuary, fish dishes have become its speciality. The pub enjoys many accreditations and features in several yachting journals and coffee table magazines.
As well as superb food, The New Inn offers a wonderful selection of real ales including local brews, plus fine wines, lagers, spirits and soft drinks. Due to the popularity of the pub, table reservations are highly recommended especially at busy times such as Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes.
