Description
Theresa Martin welcomes you to St Veronicas - one of the oldest houses in the quiet and idyllic coastal village of Bembridge. This excellent Isle of Wight bed and breakfast offers the highest standards of comfort and personal service, ensuring you have a wonderfully relaxing stay.Built in the early 19th century, St Veronicas was given its name by the nuns who ran it as a retreat from the 1920s to the 1950s. The property has been lovingly restored in keeping with its heritage, but with stylish, modern interiors.
St Veronicas is located in Bembridge on one of the Islands most beautiful stretches of coastline, renowned for its excellent sailing, walking and cycling. Alternatively, relax in our private courtyard or hire our beach hut, which is just a two-minute walk away. Wi-fi is also available.
All four en-suite bedrooms are beautifully presented and boast sea views. Three have king-size beds and the fourth can be offered as a twin or super king room. Prices start from £75, which includes breakfast. A self-contained retreat is also available.
Our breakfasts - the best start to any day
We strive to use organic and local produce whenever possible, offering fresh fruit and a selection of nuts, cereals and yogurts, as well as our delicious full English breakfast specials. We can also arrange packed lunches for day trips and excursions.
How to find us
From the Fishbourne ferry, turn left onto the A3054 towards Sandown, then continue towards Bembridge and Seaview. Once in Bembridge, follow the road around the village and turn left following the signposts to The Lifeboat Station. The house is opposite.
