Plum Tree Cottage is a 19th century stone farm cottage which was completely renovated in 2005/6 and offers superb Isle of Wight self catering holiday accommodation for up to six people. The cottage is situated in a quiet rural lane, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, a few minutes walk from the village of Godshill. Plum Tree Cottage features an open plan living area with a wood burning stove.

The kitchen adjoins the living room and is modern and well equipped. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin and a single room with bunk beds. All bedrooms offer views over the surrounding countryside. The bathroom /WC is also on the first floor. The cottage is attached to one other similar cottage, yet offers complete privacy inside and out with a large enclosed private garden with patio and parking area for 2 cars. The cottage is fully centrally heated making it ideal for holidays and getaways at any time of year. Plum Tree Cottage is centrally heated and also has a multi-fuel stove in the living room for a real fire - ideal for cooler evenings in spring or autumn.

The spacious open plan living area leads into the beautifully fitted kitchen which features a washer dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave and electric hob and oven. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a double bed, middle bedroom with two singles and a single room with 3´ bunk beds. The bathroom/WC with shower is also located on the first floor. The spacious garden extends around 3 sides and is mainly lawned, with some fruit trees (hence the name) and is bordered by mature hedgerows. There is a south facing patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. We welcome well behaved dogs by prior arrangement.

Maytime Cottage is located near the southern tip of the Isle of Wight, the cottage offers exceptionally spacious ETC four star self catering holiday accommodation for up to six people in three upstairs bedrooms, with a bathroom and seperate shower room, an enclosed private garden and parking for two cars. The cottage has been tastefully extended, renovated and re-fitted over the past few years.

Maytime Cottage is set in in open countryside, within an area of outstanding natural beauty, just one mile from the village of Whitwell, and four miles from the victorian resort of Ventnor and also close to some of the Island´s finest beaches.

Fine country views with easy access to beaches and walking trails right from the door make Maytime Cottage a perfect base; and with the multitude of activities and attractions on the Island, whether you prefer golf, surfing, horse-riding, paragliding, or just relaxing and taking in the scenery, you can tailor your holiday to suit your own tastes.

The cottage is available for self catering holidays throughout the year.
