Description
With just six rooms, an Isle of Wight holiday at Jireh House provides a personal touch. We have taken meticulous care to ensure that all stays at our guest house will be remembered for hospitality, good food and comfortable accommodation in intimate surroundings.Room prices at Jireh House include a full English farmhouse breakfast. When booking, at least one night's payment is required in advance. During peak season, a non-refundable deposit of at least 50% must be received prior to arrival. All rooms have tea making facilities and a colour television. There is also a separate shower room and bathroom for guests without an en-suite.
Furnished with antique mahogany furniture, Jireh House is an impressive 17th century building located in the heart of Yarmouth. Rich in history, the building once formed part of the town hall until the present one was built in 1763. Many original features are still on display, from the inviting stone fireplace to the sturdy ceiling beams.
Morning coffees, luncheons, afternoon teas and evening meals are available to both residents and non-residents in the licensed restaurant. During the main season, our restaurant serves meals until around 9:30pm.
The majority of our food is homemade and everything is cooked to order. Our popular homemade chips perfectly complement our extensive dinner menu.
